From any point of the Umbrian valley one rises in high the glance, one can perceive on the horizon the hill of Montefalco.
Montefalco, with his steep sides, is placed between the silvery olive-trees and the verdant vineyards of the famous Sagrantino grapes.
The Hill of Sagrantino was founded in 2006 by the Pantosti's family as flats for holiday with intention of offer the customers the maximum comfort, relaxation, entertainment and food-and-wine circuits.
The structure, shrouded in enchanting Umbrian view, draws the small bricks style of the old Umbrian residences and it consists of four comfortable flats with furniture in ancient style and a splendid balcony from which, like an ideal railing, it is possible one appear finding out a view at 180° on the whole of valley from Spoleto to Perugia.
The Hill of Sagrantino is very near Montefalco old town where it will be possible to appreciate the fabulous Benozzo Gozzoli's paintings, jealously kept in the ancient S.Francesco's Church, now museum together with the splendid monuments owned by the small town.
The Hill of Sagrantino is at few km from Assisi, S.Francesco's birth-place, and from a lot of other typical smalls Umbrian towns as Bevagna, Trevi, Todi, Cascia...
