From wherever in the South Umbrian Valley you look, you cannot fail to notice both the medieval hilltop town of Montefalco and the hill on which it sits.

Situated between silver olive trees and green vineyards, Montefalco is the native land of Sagrantino grapes.

The “Collina del Sagrantino” was founded in 2006 by the Pantosti family as rental holiday apartments, offering both comfort and relaxation for its guests.

The “Collina del Sagrantino” is immersed in beautiful Umbrian countryside. It is constructed in a typical traditional Umbrian style, comprising four comfortable apartments each with its own balcony with breathtaking panoramic views across the valley to Assisi, Trevi and Spoleto.

The “Collina del Sagrantino” is close to the historical centre of Montefalco where you can view and appreciate the works of Benozzo Gozzoli in the ancient church of St. Francis, which is now a museum that also houses many other important and historical works of Montefalco.

The “Collina del Sagrantino” is also very close to Assisi, hometown of St. Francis and Bevagna, famous for its mosaics and “Mercato delle Gaite”.
